Crazy Pineapple is a Hold'em poker variation. This game is quite interesting, to be honest. The only differences compared to Texas Holdem are that you'll get three hole cards, your personal cards, and then you're going to have to throw one of them away. It sounds like a small thing but it's a major change.
Players post blinds, and the game begins when dealer deals all players 3 cards. There's a betting round, and player on the left side of the dealer will make his decision first. Turns proceed clockwise.
You're supposed to start thinking about the best possible five card combination from the very beginning, since regular poker hand rankings are being used in this game, too.
After the first betting round, the dealer deals 'flop', which means 3 community cards. After the flop has been dealt, you'll have to discard one of your cards. After this, there'll be a betting round and fourth community card is dealt, called 'turn'. There's a third betting round after the turn, and it's time for the last community card, 'river'. After the river has been dealt, players play the very last betting round, and there's a showdown.
You can either use both of your holecards + 3 community cards, only one holecard + 4 community cards or use the board to make your hand in showdown.
Note: There's a 4 bet limit for each round. This means that a player can't put more than 4 times the amount of bet size to pot per round. This also means that there can be maximum of 3 raises made (per round).
Crazy Pineapple rules are quite easy to learn, just like Texas Hold'em and Omaha Hold'em (other Hold'em game variations, more popular). Crazy Pineapple is definitely a very entertaining game of poker, and as of this moment, you can play it at UltimateBet.com. |
