Draw Poker means a poker variation where you actually get the whole hand dealt, first, and then you proceed to make the hand better by replacing and/or drawing cards.
Five Card Draw
In similar fashion to Hold'em games, there are blinds. Player on the left side of dealer posts small blind and player on the left side of the small blind posts a big blind. All players receive five holecards.
Player on the left side of the big blind starts the first betting round by choosing whether to fold, call or bet. Five Card Draw poker goes clockwise, so next player will have same options, but he can raise too in case the player before him decided to bet out.
There's "draw", which means players decide whether to draw cards or not. In other words, they select the holecards they want to exchange to others, hoping to improve their hands. When you have decided which cards to discard (you can discard/draw cards anywhere between 0 and 5 - you can also decide to not draw any cards), dealer deals you cards to replace the ones you selected.
Second betting round, and showdown.
Standard poker hand rankings apply in Draw Poker games, too.
